The Dietitians & Nutritionist performs duties under the Nutrition Services Administrator , in collaboration with the direction of the managing team, Director of Nurses and/or Physician. They will be treating individuals who are being treated or cared for, and is used in place of patient, client, or other nomenclature specific to an agency within a correctional facility.
Job Duties, Include But Are Not Limited To
Full performance level: under the supervision of a Nutrition Services Administrator, provides professional dietetic and nutrition services to individuals.
May supervise Dietitian Technicians, Dietitians 1, or a small food preparation and service program(s).
Job Requirements
Current registration with the CDR as an Registered Dietitian or certification as a Dietitian-Nutritionist by the NYSED.
One year or more of service as a Dietitian.
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm
Contract Length: Up to two years
