We're looking for a hands-on Digital Marketing Director with deep experience in the luxury brand sector to join the global leader in bespoke, sustainable luxury travel across the African continent. Our ideal candidate is a cross-channel digital marketer with a particular focus on CRM and data-driven strategies in the ultra-luxe market. You'll play a crucial role in developing and executing effective digital marketing campaigns to drive customer acquisition, retention, and growth among a specific UHNW target demo.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with overall business objectives meeting lead gen targets
  • Manage and optimize CRM systems to enhance customer relationships and drive engagement
  • Leverage data analytics to track campaign performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
  • Produce and provide regular marketing performance reports to leadership
  • Create and execute email marketing campaigns, social media campaigns, and content marketing initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing campaigns, including creative teams and agency partners
  • Stay up to date with the latest digital marketing trends and technologies, incorporating and implementing those you see as beneficial to furthering brand and marketing efforts


Requirements:

  • 7+ years full funnel digital marketing experience and ability to develop and implement cohesive, goal-driven cross-channel strategies
  • Proven experience in the luxury sector (travel a plus)
  • Must be hands-on; you’ll be expected to develop strategy, work with an agency resource to execute, and oversee all analytics tracking to continuously optimize
  • Insatiably driven by numbers and the opportunity to achieve marketing gains (there’s a tremendous opportunity in this space, so your opportunities tied to performance bonuses are significant)
  • Deep experience with paid ads (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads)
  • Extremely strong in paid and organic social strategy
  • Knowledge of SEO and SEM best practices
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) – Mailchimp
  • Experience with Google Analytics and Search Console
  • Experience with CRM systems – preferably Salesforce
  • Experience conducting A/B tests to optimize marketing campaigns and improve conversion rates
  • Proficiency in using marketing automation tools to streamline processes and increase efficiency
  • Knowledge of tag management platforms (e.g., Google Tag Manager) to implement and manage website tracking codes
  • Ability to integrate marketing tools with other systems through APIs to enhance data flow and functionality
  • Ability to conduct market research to identify target audiences, understand their needs, and develop effective marketing strategies.
  • Experience analyzing competitors' marketing strategies to identify opportunities and stay ahead of the curve
  • Skill in managing digital marketing budgets effectively to maximize ROI
  • Ability to work effectively with teams across different departments to achieve shared goals
  • Strong organizational and time management skills working across time zones
  • Ability to identify and solve complex marketing challenges creatively
