Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Director, Advocacy, and Corporate Outreach. The Director will be responsible for leading advocacy initiatives, developing corporate partnerships, and enhancing the organization's outreach efforts. Day-to-day tasks include engaging with key stakeholders, representing the organization in external forums, and driving strategic partnerships to advance the mission of AMPP. Full job description:

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in public relations, public policy, communications, media, marketing, journalism or writing or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years experience utilizing strategic influencing skills with corporate members in an Association setting.
• Strong experience in advocacy, public relations, or corporate outreach
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
• Strategic thinker with a track record of developing and implementing successful advocacy campaigns
• Knowledge of the materials protection and performance industry is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
