Director, Corporate Finance

The Strategic Finance team is focused on solving some of Figma’s most pressing business issues. The team is responsible for owning the company's budget, driving annual and quarterly planning processes, allocating and deploying the company's resources efficiently, performing financial analyses, and partnering with teams across the company. We are looking for a highly analytical leader who is strategic, approaches problems in a structured manner, and is comfortable operating in ambiguity. You’ll focus on the highest-priority business issues and be plugged into every facet of the business.

Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills and prior relevant experience, potential impact, and scope of role), market demands, and specific work location. The listed range is a guideline, and the range for this role may be modified. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, the pay range is localized according to employee work location by a factor of between 80% and 100% of range. $250,000—$338,000 USD

What you’ll do at Figma:
- Own the operating plan, including long range planning, annual planning, quarterly forecasting, and monthly reporting, and weekly performance management
- Partner with leadership across the company to deliver a strategy for long-term, efficient growth, and establish financial framework for reinvestment
- Manage and drive our workforce strategy, in collaboration with the People and Talent Teams
- Set the vision for our systems roadmap, drive cross-functional systems implementations at scale, and deliver process improvements
- Lead, manage, and scale the Corporate, Systems, G&A, and Long Term Planning teams. Provide feedback loops, career coaching, and remove blockers for team members
- Prepare and deliver management presentations for leadership to analyze results and forecasts, build narratives that describe business strategy and performance, assess business risk and operating health, and align cross functional teams to effective solutions
- 10+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, and/or Strategic Finance, Business Operations, or related fields
- Prior experience as a second line leader of a distributed, high performing team
- Experience leading cross-functional systems implementations
- Deep understanding of B2B SaaS businesses, metrics, and customer lifecycle
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
- An ability to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and develop concrete action plans
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify messaging while understanding the nuances
- Prior experience at a high-growth B2B SaaS company
- Led a Corporate Finance function
- A highly entrepreneurial “roll up your sleeves” mentality
- IPO Experience
- SQL experience
