Director, CRM and Retention Marketing

The Director, CRM and Retention Marketing is a highly strategic role that will drive constituent retention & CRM efforts for our client partners, working cross-functionally to optimize and grow audience-first constituent retention strategies. The ideal candidate will have a passion for driving engagement, retention, and loyalty


You will:

  • Develop and lead retention strategies for a diverse portfolio of client partners, focusing on improving retention rates, share of wallet, and lifetime value.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with strategy, analytics, and account teams, ensuring seamless execution of client retention programs and constituent journeys.
  • Oversee multichannel nurturing campaigns, with a focus on digital tactics such as email, SMS, integrated campaigns, and site content to activate and engage constituents.
  • Design and implement a testing strategy to continually optimize retention efforts across email, SMS, and digital content.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and serve as the agency’s expert on constituent retention, driving innovation and client education in loyalty strategies.


We require:

  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, performance marketing and retention marketing
  • 3+ years of experience managing people and teams.
  • Needs to be comfortable with leading and doing.
  • Both a strong strategic thinker, with the ability to translate quantitative and qualitative. data/insights into strong marketing strategies, and a highly organized “doer,” with a data-driven mentality and a bias towards action.
  • Customer-oriented and hyper-analytical, with a positive, entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Proven record of partnering cross functionally to drive top line growth.
  • Deep experience with top ESP and SMS platforms, both from a technical integrations and user perspective.
  • Deep experience with Google Analytics and similar analytics platforms.
  • Experience leveraging channel integrations and website optimizations to support retention strategies and drive top line growth.
