  • Incident Management: Lead the investigation of health and safety incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions. Develop incident reporting systems and ensure timely and accurate reporting of all safety-related incidents.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Create and maintain EHS metrics, dashboards, and reporting systems. Analyze data to identify trends, measure performance, and inform strategic decision-making. Provide regular reports to senior management on EHS performance and initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with other functional departments, including legal, corporate, regulatory, development, and engineering teams, to ensure EHS considerations are integrated into all business activities. Act as a liaison between the company and external regulatory bodies, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Emergency Preparedness and Response: Develop and oversee emergency preparedness plans and response procedures. Conduct regular drills and training sessions to ensure employees are prepared to handle emergencies effectively.
  • Environmental Stewardship: Champion environmental sustainability initiatives, ensuring the company's operations minimize environmental impact. Develop and implement strategies to manage waste, reduce emissions, and promote resource conservation.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes in EHS. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the company's EHS programs, driving innovation and excellence in safety practices.
  • International Travel: Travel up to 50% internationally to oversee and support health and safety initiatives across various sites. Conduct on-site assessments, provide training, and ensure compliance with EHS standards at all locations.
