Business Development Director - Boston
I am working with a global CRDMO focused on drug discovery services for small and large molecules, specifically pre-clinical services. We are looking for someone to cover the Boston territory and bring in around $10 Million new business YOY.
Must have:
3+ years CRO experience selling pre clinical services
Must have a network in North East territory
Must have a hunter mentality
Responcibilities:
Develop a comprehensive strategic plan for Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania North and South Carolina and Eastern Canada customers to expand activities in the area of Discovery services.
Make an operating plan to achieve the budgeted revenue targets.
Work closely with the Head of BD to continue to position the company as a differentiated, next generation pure play Discovery Services provider.
Identify market opportunities, where you can offer its competitive advantages.
Work with other members of the commercial team, formulate the vision, strategy, business plan and support requirements necessary to pursue major strategic alliances and partnerships.
Develop business analyses to support future opportunities, assess the commercial competitive landscape, and help evaluate the commercial potential of new opportunities.
Provide regular presentations on business development opportunities, sales pipeline, and competitive analyses.
Build and manage a robust pipeline of deals and partnerships aligned with the company’s value creation strategy for customers based on their Discovery and pre-clinical development pipeline.
Travel up to 50% in heavy months, 10 % - 25% in slower months.
