Director of Communications and Social Media

Role

The comms and social media director is responsible for growing HILOS’ audience across owned channels, increasing engagement, and providing value-added content that elevate our brand and increase inbound.

Responsibilities

Tangibly, the Comms and Social Director is responsible for the following:

• Plan, design, implement and monitor social media campaigns
• Create, curate, and manage social media content across a variety of channels and platforms
• Engage users with prompt responses and cultivate community
• Email strategy and list-building
• Monitor social media trends in footwear, fashion, 3D printing, digital manufacturing, and other relevant applications and technologies
• Work with our Head of Creative Tech and Art Director on strategic marketing plans and content creation
• Track key performance metrics on campaigns and growth and report progress to team

Necessary Experience

Qualified candidates will have an elevated and developed sense of design, strong experience across social platforms and running social media accounts, and a highly organized, independent, get-it-done mentality that can deliver results and hold themselves accountable.

Terms

• Portland-based is preferred, but we are open to a remote role.
• 10 hours/week to start. Opportunities for full-time employment and rapid career growth.
• Compensation ranges from $44-90/hour to start.
