The Director of Corporate Integrity Program is the designated Privacy Official and Compliance Officer for Genesis Healthcare System.
The Director is responsible and accountable for on-going development, implementation and maintenance of the corporate Integrity (privacy and compliance) Program, Pharmacy Research, and the Genesis Institutional Review Board 'IRB'.
A qualified candidate must be trained in HIPAA privacy regulations; applicable State licensure rules, CMS Conditions of Participation, Acute Care and Ambulatory Surgery Center Accreditation Agency standards.
Prior experience is required with hospital survey activity, hospital operations; and reimbursement systems, along with knowledge of the mandatory breach reporting requirements to the Office of Civil Rights.
Corporate Integrity is a department of 5 employees (Compliance Specialists & Auditor Consultants).
NON-NEGOTIABLE requirements include a Graduate Degree in Healthcare, Business, or Law (strongly preferred) and a minimum of 5 years healthcare management experience.
Position reports to the Chief Legal Officer (CLO).
This is NOT a remote position.
