Position Overview

In this role, you will significantly influence our HR strategies in collaboration with senior leadership, ensuring alignment with our mission. Your responsibilities will include developing compensation programs, managing health and welfare programs, overseeing DEIB initiatives, conducting engagement surveys, and managing payroll processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor on HR matters, including compensation, payroll, benefits, professional development, and employee relations.
  • Develop and oversee compensation programs that are equitable and budget-conscious.
  • Manage health and welfare programs, including benefits analysis and renewal processes.
  • Lead DEIB initiatives and and facilitate engagement surveys to enhance workplace culture.
  • Supervise retirement plan audits and payroll to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Create and roll out HR policies and procedures with effective communication throughout the organization.
  • Oversee a team of Senior HR Business Partners and an HRIS Analyst to achieve collaborative goals.
  • Support strategic planning and execution of HR initiatives related to performance management and employee development.
  • Manage recruitment, training, and employee recognition programs.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations while handling employee relations with integrity.

Skills And Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of HR experience, with 3 years in a management role within a small to mid-size HR department.
  • Strong understanding of HR strategies, including performance management and employee relations.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS platforms.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and leverage insights to inform HR strategies.
  • Experience in a not-for-profit or fast-paced environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) and multi-state, multi-location environments is a plus.
