Job Title: Director of Human Resources

Company: Privately held company in the construction industry

Location: Atlanta, GA

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the HR department and serve as a strategic partner to the executive team
  • Oversee all aspects of human resources, including talent acquisition, compensation analysis, benefits renewals, and policy development
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable HR laws and regulations
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
  • Partner with operations to support business objectives and drive organizational growth
  • Manage the HR budget and resources effectively

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Human Resources or a similar field
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • HR Certification: (e.g. SHRM-CP, SPHR)
  • Proven leadership skills and experience managing a team
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations
  • Experience with acquisitions and integrating new employees into the organization
  • Ability to conduct compensation analysis and make strategic recommendations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Growth mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
