About The Role

You will play a pivotal role in defining, launching, and scaling our audio services on major e-commerce platforms across emerging markets. Your strategic vision and leadership will be crucial in identifying high-potential audiobook markets and creating a standardized playbook to efficiently launch and grow our services in these regions.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Driving the successful launch of our services in new markets and ensuring sustained growth.
  • Collaborating with global and local teams to shape customer acquisition and revenue growth strategies.
  • Building and leading a high-performance marketing team to execute these strategies.
  • Influencing the content offering, pricing, and product experience on various platforms to resonate with local audiences.
  • Leading data-driven analyses and ROI evaluations to provide strategic recommendations.
  • Overseeing operational planning, goal setting, and metrics tracking.
  • Managing, mentoring, and developing a team of marketing managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with local and global teams to identify high-potential markets for audiobooks on major e-commerce platforms.
  • Define and execute the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy, developing a standardized playbook for launching our offerings across emerging markets.
  • Work closely with content, international expansion, and pricing strategy teams to tailor our services to each market.
  • Drive new customer acquisition and revenue growth through strategic marketing initiatives.
  • Establish strong relationships with platform teams to maximize visibility and reach through various touchpoints.
  • Identify and implement operational best practices to streamline and scale marketing efforts.
  • Build and lead a centralized marketing team to efficiently execute marketing activities.
  • Partner with product and technology teams to support new product and feature launches.
  • Oversee localization efforts, ensuring seamless implementation and testing of site changes.
  • Conduct cost-benefit and ROI analyses to inform strategic decisions and solve complex business challenges.
  • Manage operational planning, goal setting, and budget allocation to achieve business objectives.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and drive continuous improvement.
  • Mentor and develop a team of junior and senior marketing managers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in marketing, including online and/or B2B marketing.
  • Proven track record in setting up and scaling new marketplaces to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Experience in identifying customer insights and developing strategic marketing briefs.
  • Proficiency with marketing tools such as email, web analytics, and CRM systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in e-commerce marketing, especially within major platforms.
  • Background in the entertainment or media industry.
  • Experience working with technical teams to develop and launch new marketing products.
  • Strong project management and team collaboration skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive marketing decisions.
