We’re looking for a Director of Operations to join us in fulfilling our mission, while utilizing our values of excellence, improvement and connection. In this role, you will report to the SVP, Operations and will be responsible for leading the Claims, Homeowners Assistance Default Management, and Investigation organizations.

In this role, you will report to the SVP, Operations and will be responsible for leading the Claims, Homeowners Assistance Default Management, and Investigation organizations.
LOCATION
Remote or Hybrid Schedule in the Enact Headquarters, Raleigh, NC
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategy for Claims, Homeowners Assistance (HOA) Default Management and Investigations
- Inspire a performance enhancement culture by actively coaching, mentoring and leading direct reports, providing regular feedback and developing employees for wider roles and responsibilities to foster professional growth and development
- Provide vision to inspire culture of innovation to improve efficiencies without losing effectiveness
- Optimize execution by directing the establishment of key operational performance indicators through metrics analyses
- Identify improvement opportunities through automation, outsourcing, digital transformation and Gen AI
- Develop and maintain relationships with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and Servicers with a focus on loss management and mitigation strategies
- Represent Enact at all GSE loss management and mitigation summits and forums
- Work with the GSEs and/or Servicers to create new and to improve existing delegation programs for loss mitigation
- Represent Enact at all applicable servicing and government forum conferences and represent Enact as a member of the NMSA
- Serve as the lead negotiator in Claims and Servicing settlement negotiations with GSEs and Servicers and act as Genworth’s SME in arbitration and mediation agreements
- Collaborate with Sales to sustain positive customer relations through improved Claims and Investigation processes and HOA outreach & delegated programs
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 7 years of leadership experience
- Demonstrated ability to shape, develop and drive strategic business initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to influence others to achieve results
- Demonstrated ability to change operational processes to improve efficiencies
- Strong ability to effectively collaborate across all areas of the business
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong critical thinking
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Special Working Conditions: Occasional travel required
- Advanced degree preferred
- Previous Mortgage Insurance experience preferred
