Director of Partner Development - Summit Collaborative

Summary Of Position

The Summit Collaborative Director of Partner Development serves as a meaningful member of the Collaborative Team to support our 70+ church plants to thrive and multiply. Their main areas of oversight will be developing financial partners, cultivating and on-boarding connected churches, and partnerships with networks and organizations.

  • Direction | Desire to build long term partnerships and serve planters.
  • Alignment | Passion for church planting and complete alignment with Collaborative vision and values.

Role Specific Qualifications

  • Self starter with the ability to build relationships and recruit to a vision.
  • General knowledge of church planting organizations and networks.
    • Specific awareness of the Summit Collaborative is preferred.
  • Extensive fundraising experience with donors and organizations.
  • Understanding of church leadership with a preference for direct experience.
  • Able to travel to church plants for events, church visits, and fundraising.
  • A member of the Summit Church or willing and able to become a member. Membership at a Summit Collaborative church may be considered under specific circumstances.
Responsibilities

  • Responsible for expanding the Summit Collaborative donor development for the purpose of furthering church planting.
    • Must develop new and maintain existing relationships in a way that increases generosity and connection to a broader donor base.
    • Should consider the Collaborative donor base our extended family and include them in our planting strategy in meaningful ways.
    • Will include but not be limited to hosting stand alone events, side by side events with other Collaborative events, and including the Collaborative team, J.D. Greear, and other Collaborative lead pastors as appropriate.
  • Responsible for expanding Summit Collaborative’s relationships and representation with other networks and organizations.
    • Should be strategic with relationships and networks for growing the Collaborative’s access to funding, learning best practices, and new planting pipelines.
    • Should seek opportunities for the Summit Collaborative to share with other networks and organizations in a way that benefits the kingdom through improved church planting.
    • Will include but not be limited to event attendance and event hosting.
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with strategic churches considering joining the Summit Collaborative.
    • Work to expose new churches to the Summit Collaborative, learn about their church, and help them thrive and move towards multiplication. This is done with the intent to adopt churches into the Collaborative family at the right time.
    • Will include but not be limited to visiting, coaching, worshiping with these churches.
