Director of Project Management & Executive Administration

The Director of Project Management & Executive Administration is responsible for playing a key support role to the Executive Vice President - and to a lesser extent, to the President - in defining and evaluating strategic initiatives, setting organizational priorities, monitoring performance, and making adjustments when necessary to achieve continuous business improvement. This role will aid in bridging the gap between project leadership and departmental strategy. This position will be based out of our Neptune City, NJ facility 5x a week.

Measures Of Success

  • Managing project portfolios, including creation, resource allocation, and ensuring successful project delivery.
  • Proactive identification of new project opportunities and developing project roadmaps that align with organizational goals.
  • Lead the project management of select key strategic initiatives - including the definition, coordination and communication of objectives, tracking of status and deliverables, and reporting to the EVP & President/CEO on a regular basis.
  • Assist in the integration of new business acquisitions across all functional areas.
  • Key role in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the ERP system in conjunction with IT, S&OP, Customer Service, Manufacturing and Accounting.
  • Continuously monitor status with respective Department Leads and regularly report on ongoing projects, such as:
    • Inventory tracking reports; including ‘Slow/Obsolete/Expiring’ inventory on a quarterly basis.
    • SKU Rationalization analysis and reporting on a quarterly basis.
    • Consumer and trade marketing spend tracking and analysis on a bi-annual basis.
    • Market share reporting that is compiled and analyzed on a quarterly basis.
  • Leading communication with stakeholders at all levels, keeping them informed on project progress, tactics, and timelines.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for project management.
  • May involve budget management and resource allocation across multiple projects.
  • Problem-solving and risk mitigation for complex project challenges.
  • Assist in coordination of quarterly business reporting working with key department leaders.
Ideal Candidate Attributes

  • Bachelor’s Degree, MBA preferred.
  • PMP certification or relevant project management experience (7+ years).
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities coupled with strong project management and analytical skills.
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams and creating a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects concurrently.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic and organizational skills.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills with exceptional written and verbal communication.
  • High energy, results- and people-oriented, assertive/persuasive, team player.
  • Ability to maintain the integrity of highly confidential customer and product information.
  • Computer proficiency on all MS Office applications with high proficiency in Excel.
  • Must be bilingual - English/Spanish.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 20% of the time.
