Description:
Responsible for building and managing Station Casinos’ sales efforts to achieve the company's financial goals. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Develop structure and property sales plans, activity reports and marketing strategies. Set and consistently monitor objectives for properties sales growth, holding sales people accountable for initiatives and growth. Provide accurate and reliable forecasting on an ongoing basis. Responsible to create and implement property-marketing initiatives to build brand awareness. Act as support and resource for all sales people, assisting them in meeting and exceeding all goals and objectives. Review and approve group business opportunities and contracts within defined thresholds to ensure business objectives are met. Communicate effectively with property leadership and operating departments. Responsible for monitoring department’s financial statements. Handle all employee related Human Resources issues concerning appropriate communication, counseling as well as disciplinary matters as needed. Responsible for personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of Company documents, etc.
Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in hotel sales management. Prefer at least 2 years Director of Sales Leadership experience, 2 years Sales/Marketing experience, and managed remote teams. Excellent organization skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines. Proven management experience with responsibilities including knowledge with budgeting process, strategic and tactical planning, performance management, coaching, and project management. Strong leadership, planning and exceptional project management skills. Ability to attract and retain sales talent, set expectations, communicates feedback clearly, and develop people appropriately. Excellent oral, written, verbal communication, interpersonal and presentation skills required. Establishes and maintains a culture of integrity, teamwork, and respect. Perform other job-related duties as requested.
