Director of Sales - USA

Role: Director of Sales - North America

Salary: $160,000 - $200,000 (package TBC)

Location: Texas, USA (travel throughout North America required)

International Talent Partnership has been selected by a major construction equipment manufacturer to search for a Director of Sales to cover North America. The Sales Director is responsible for developing and executing the Group strategy across the USA and Canada, driving new business and working in collaboration with the relevant stakeholders to develop sales and services growth.

The Sales Director is responsible to oversee, enhance and challenge the dealer network to ensure an optimal performance. The successful candidate will manage a team of upto 25 (4 direct). This role reports into the Vice President for Sales & Marketing.

Key focus areas;

• Sales, marketing & aftersales management.
• Dealer management.
• People management, financial reporting and budgeting, HR and administration.
• Sets up the guidelines of a comprehensive market penetration strategy.
• Recruitment – attracting new sales people into key areas of US/Canada for additional visibility.

What we are looking for;

• 10+ years of sales and management experience in the construction equipment manufacturing industry.
• Experience in construction equipment dealer network management.
• Must have a track record of building and leading high performing sales teams.
• Previous experience of managing a P&L/budget.
• People management, communication and influencing skills are imperative to the success of this position and business unit.
• Must display a forward-thinking leadership ability.
• Fluent in English.
