We are seeking a Director of Security specializing in Physical Security and Security Intelligence to join our team. This key leadership role will oversee all aspects of physical security measures and security intelligence operations to safeguard our employees, assets, and reputation.

This will be a full-time, exempt position located in our Long Beach location.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive physical security strategies, policies, and procedures across all company facilities
  • Direct the planning, design, and implementation of security systems, including video surveillance, access control, and alarms
  • Conduct regular security risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigating measures
  • Manage a team of security professionals, including training, mentoring, and performance management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security requirements into business processes and infrastructure projects
  • Oversee the monitoring of security systems and respond to incidents in a timely and effective manner
  • Establish and maintain relationships with law enforcement agencies, government officials, and security industry peers
  • Lead the development of security intelligence capabilities, including threat assessments, monitoring of global events, and proactive intelligence gathering
  • Analyze security intelligence data to identify emerging threats and provide actionable recommendations to senior management
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to physical security and intelligence


Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of proven experience in a senior security leadership role, with a focus on physical security and security intelligence


Preferred Skills & Experience

  • In-depth knowledge of security technologies, risk assessment methodologies, and crisis management protocols
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing a team of security professionals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Relevant certifications such as CPP, PSP, or CISSP are a plus


Salary Range: California

$135,000—$230,000 USD

Base salary will vary depending on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, business needs, and market demand. Salary is just one component of our comprehensive compensation package. U.S. EXPORT CONTROL COMPLIANCE STATUS

The person hired will have access to information and items subject to U.S. export controls, and therefore, must either be a “U.S. person” as defined by 22 C.F.R.

  • 120.62 or otherwise eligible for deemed export licensing. This status includes U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, lawful permanent residents (green card holders), and asylees and refugees with such status granted, not pending.
