About The Role
As the Director of Post-Award within the University Research Services and Administration (URSA) Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP), you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and overseeing the post-award activities for our research projects. Your leadership will ensure efficient project management, fiscal compliance, and exceptional service to our faculty and staff.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the coordination and management of grant and contract post-award activities, including project setup, expense monitoring, fiscal compliance, and reporting.
Distribute workload effectively to meet deadlines, providing guidance to faculty and staff on fund expenditure and ensuring high-quality customer service.
Serve as the primary liaison for grant and contract audits, ensuring compliance with agency-specific requirements.
Develop and maintain procedures to minimize institutional risk and ensure regulatory compliance.
Advise the Assistant Vice President, OSP, on post-award matters and serve as a University signature authority.
Manage Human Resources activities for direct reports, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and talent development.
Design and implement internal controls to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and four years of supervisory/management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred: Seven years of directly related experience, previous accounting experience in higher education, or a Master's in Accounting/Business Administration with a Certificate in Research Administration (CRA).
