The Product Management team drives Asana’s product strategy and execution, translating customer needs and opportunities into a compelling roadmap and working cross-functionally to deliver impactful solutions for team productivity and collaboration. We’re helping to define the Work Management category and inventing new ways for teams to work more efficiently together and see the larger purpose behind their work. Our team works directly with Engineering, Design, Experience Research, and Data Science, as well as with Sales, Support, and Marketing to ship great products. You’ll take part in every type of product work here — from strategy to product to process improvements — conceptualizing, launching, and iterating on Asana itself for millions of teams around the world.
Asana is looking for a Director of Product Management to lead the team responsible for user and buyer engagement across our product. This leader would oversee the product organization responsible for a diverse portfolio of areas that span core product features, product-led growth, the end-to-end Asana mobile offering, and critical platform capabilities. All in service of driving the depth, breadth, and frequency of customer engagement on Asana.
This role is perfect for product leaders who thrive in the nexus of product and business, have an end-to-end ownership mindset, and drive for results. We are looking for someone who has a heart for the customer, a penchant for data, and sharp business acumen. Someone who can learn fast, understand which details matter, innovate and iterate, and guide their team to craft high-quality experiences. Above all, you must be an excellent people leader and have rich experiences in managing and developing PMs and senior PM leaders.
This role is based in our San Francisco office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner. If you're interviewing for this role, your recruiter will share more about the in-office requirements.
