We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Director/VP of Sales to join our team in the Engineering industry. This role will provide leadership and direction for our sales team, develop and implement sales strategies, and drive growth and profitability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in OEM, DRAM, Hardware, SSD, IP Blocks, ASIC, and SEM/SEO. They will also have a deep understanding of market strategy, product marketing, strategy, partner engagement, growth objectives, product development, resellers, branding and positioning, memory storage, brand awareness, and semiconductor memory products. Experience with SSD is a must, and familiarity with semiconductor memory products such as SK, Intel, Micron, Toshiba, WD, Kioxia is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
  • Understand category-specific landscapes and trends.
  • Reporting on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts.
  • Drive brand awareness and market positioning.
  • Engage with partners and resellers to expand market reach and drive business growth.
  • Lead product development and marketing strategies for semiconductor memory products.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the sales team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align sales strategies and activities with business goals.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a sales leadership role.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services.
  • Proven ability to position products against competitors.
  • Demonstrable experience in developing client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Experience with OEM, DRAM, Hardware, SSD, IP Blocks, ASIC, SEM/SEO.
  • Familiarity with market strategy, product marketing, strategy, partner engagement, growth objectives, product development, resellers, branding and positioning, memory storage, brand awareness, semiconductor memory products.
  • Experience with SSD is a must, ideally with some semiconductor memory products (e.g. SK, Intel, Micron, Toshiba, WD, Kioxia).
  • Will consider candidates with experience in other semiconductor IC products.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field; MBA preferred.
