This position requires a detail-oriented individual responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the Agency's financial records. The EHR Accounting Specialist will be responsible for reconciling EHR accounting entries against multiple financial systems, identifying discrepancies, and preparing corrective journal entries.

Daily responsibilities include:

  • Comprehensive review and reconciliation of EHR accounting entries.
  • Collaboration with program areas and financial management to resolve discrepancies.
  • Preparation and input of journal entries to correct accounting errors.
  • Analysis of financial data to identify trends and potential issues.

Minimum And Additional Requirements

A high school diploma and professional experience in a related area such as accounting, auditing, finance, or banking.

A bachelor's degree with multiple accounting courses may be substituted for the required work experience.

Two (2) years of accounting experience. A good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in accounts receivables and reconciliations or audits.

DRIVING RECORD: If this position requires the applicant to possess a valid driver’s license to operate a state vehicle or personal vehicle, any applicant being considered in the final stages of selection for the position will be required to provide a certified copy of a 10-year driving record.
