TEAM AND ROLE

As the Financial Controller, you will oversee the financial annual accounts, external audits, and corporate tax compliance. You'll build and guide the finance team, partner closely with local management, and ensure regulatory compliance and robust internal controls. Additionally, you'll manage cash flow, support budgeting, and forecasting, and maintain accurate financial administration to drive business success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the financial annual accounts, external audits, and corporate tax compliance for STX Group.
  • Build and develop the finance team and act as local management's business partner.
  • Oversee compliance with regulatory requirements, government reporting, and internal controls.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and support annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Manage cash flow, banking activities, and ensure accurate financial administration.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Motivated to make a meaningful impact and bring value to the organization.
  • Proven leadership experience with a hands-on approach to team management, project execution, and problem-solving.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with proficiency in Excel.
  • Certified CPA or CA with 8+ years of relevant experience, ideally within the commodity trading sector.
  • Independent and proactive, thriving in environments with limited guidance.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

STX intends on offering the selected candidate a competitive base salary within the range of $180,000 - $200,000 based on a number of objective factors such as relevant experience, holistic skillset, and applicable licenses and certifications. The candidate may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus as determined annually within the company fiscal year.
