About our business unit, Planimatik:


Planimatik’s Masterplanning distinguishes us from conventional Transportation Management Systems (TMS) by merging strategic planning with freight management. Our platform allows clients to oversee their entire freight operation through a unified interface, offering the flexibility to access additional capacity as needed—whether through their own providers or via our marketplace with Planimatik Bid. This role will also involve coordinating cross-selling opportunities with Cargobot to enhance client value. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a skilled and strategic leader to join us as the Head of the Business Unit (SaaS)


In this key role, you will be instrumental in shaping and implementing our Software as a Service (SaaS) strategy. You will oversee the development, deployment, and performance of our SaaS products, ensuring they align with the company’s broader objectives and drive customer success.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Take a hands-on approach to acquiring new clients, leveraging industry knowledge and a deep understanding of customer needs. Serve as a point of contact for strategic clients and collaborate with account executives to drive sales.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive SaaS strategy aligned with the company's overall objectives, driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Support leads the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and sales, to bring innovative SaaS solutions to market.
  • Build and lead a high-performing Sales team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability. Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to ensure individual and collective success.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs. Conduct market research to identify opportunities for product enhancement and differentiation.
  • Work closely with the customer success team to understand customer feedback, address issues, and continuously improve the user experience of our SaaS products.
  • Develop and manage the budget for the SaaS division, ensuring cost-effectiveness and maximizing ROI. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or a related field; an MBA is highly desirable.
  • Over 8 years of proven leadership in SaaS product management, specifically within the supply chain and logistics industry.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS business models, with comprehensive knowledge of technology trends and market dynamics shaping the industry.
  • Demonstrated success in launching, scaling, and optimizing SaaS products, with hands-on experience leading cross-functional teams to achieve product goals.
  • Hands-on experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) or similar SaaS solutions in the industry is highly advantageous.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to influence stakeholders and foster collaboration across departments.
  • A self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, focusing on innovation, growth, and driving product success.
  • Ability to travel 20-30% as required to support business needs and team success.
