Job Description
We are excited to be on the hunt for a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Head of SEO for one of our newest crypto sites, currently listed on Google news and provide excellent informational and educational content for the enquirers and seasoned crypto enthusiasts.
In this role, you will driving the sites content strategy, use SEO tools daily to optimise our content against competitors. You will be commercially minded, with good performance & growth marketing experience and a good eye for developing product initiatives. You will also be very active with recruiting key professionals and build best-in-class practices and techniques.
Responsibilities
Working directly with our co-founders helping define SEO strategy, supporting & guiding editorial & product staff
Training & managing editors on SEO best practices
Responsible for growing traffic organically, increasing monthly revenue
Defining SEO reporting structure for the company
Working with the product team to ensure new website features & product releases are SEO friendly
Producing competitor and keyword analysis
Ensuring no major search console issues
Technical website audits and troubleshooting problem pages
Deriving actionable insight from SEO reports (analysing key commercial pages, goal conversions in analytics, etc)
Helping to refine & optimise link-building strategies
Requirements
Strong technical SEO experience, ideally from a competitive industry. An affiliate background is highly preferred
Experience within the Crypto space is a mandatory
Knowledge and experience in IT, software and business development will be a huge advantage
Experience with SEO tools (Moz, Ahrefs, SEMRush, Majestic, ScreamingFrog, etc)
Self-motivated and highly organized
Experience within the local link building and possibly a portfolio of finance media we can use
