Position Summary

At Straumann Group, Human Resources is both a strategic and true partner to our business, providing proactive support to employees throughout all levels of the organization to achieve the strategic objectives. As member of the local leadership team you will partner with the local leaders and employees to drive the people agenda for the site, in close collaboration with global and regional HR stakeholders. You will provide strategic and tactical partnering to the business and will be the main point of contact for the full spectrum of HR-related topics.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

  • Providing proactive consultation, critical evaluation and support to leaders and employees on issues where HR expertise can influence business results.
  • Acting as a sparring partner - driving and influencing a positive employee (life) experience across all moments that matter by enabling the business leaders
  • Assessing HR processes, identifying and implementing changes to ensure both continuous improvement and a progressive HR mindset.
  • Driving the cultural journey (high performance player-learner culture) to reinforce the sense of belonging within the global Straumann Group
  • Driving Talent Development & Talent Management strategies for the organization, while partnering with L&OD and BP counterparts globally to prepare employees for broader roles, empower employees in their own career progression, and to provide viable succession plans for key management roles.
  • Leading and participating in HR projects as a functional expert and thought partner, through collaboration with the regional and global HR teams.
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and effectiveness; ensure process guides, HR manuals and policies are up-to-date, progressive, accessible and aligned with the organization’s culture.
  • Collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends; understanding the importance of Data Integrity and HR Analytics and proposing and driving solutions in response to trends.
  • Partnering with HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, and Learning & Organizational Development on key initiatives.
  • Supporting our Global People Organisation’s mission to shape Straumann Group for the future through building a high-performance culture, linking the “why” and the “how” for our employees, building strength in our community through genuine experiences, hiring, empowering, developing, and recognizing exceptional talent, and delivering critical messages with facts and data.
  • Keeping the team informed of all federal, state and local laws and regulations, and best practices
  • Travel 5-10% both domestically and internationally

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience
  • 5+ years of experience in employee relations, performance management, investigations and coaching
  • 2+ years of experience working in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
  • Broad experience as an HR Business Partner with a track record gained in customer oriented, multinational business environment, preferably experience in both commercial and operations / manufacturing settings
  • Performance and business driven; solutions oriented
  • Strategic mindset paired with high sense for execution, teamwork and can-do attitude
  • Superior interpersonal skills and ability to successfully partner with employees and managers throughout all levels of the organization
  • High level of enthusiastic professionalism, building trust and driving engagement in a changing environment
  • Exceptional collaborative skills, including ability to work in a dynamic matrix environment and to flex with the needs of the organization
  • Proven project management, time management and organizational skills
  • Willingness to embrace and embody Straumann’s 7 Core Beliefs and Cultural Journey
  • PHR or SPHR certification
