Summary


The HR Business Partner (HRBP) brings a strong generalist background and is able to solve organizational challenges through people focused solutions and champions company culture and values.


The HRBP position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management across the organization and/or within assigned departments. As a member of the People & Culture team, the HRBP partners with the team to deliver value-added service across the employee life cycle from talent acquisition to off boarding.


Responsibilities


  • Conducts regular meetings with respective department managers.
  • Consults with managers and provides appropriate guidance and interpretation of company policies and external compliance.
  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the People & Culture team to develop solutions, programs and policies; and establishes effective change management communications to create buy-in, support and successful adoption of solutions.
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues - including conducting effective, thorough and objective investigations.
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to managers including coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions.
  • Works closely with managers and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Supports talent acquisition by conducting intake sessions, working with managers to develop job descriptions and interview questionnaire guides, post jobs and manage the full-cycle recruiting.
  • Develops and oversees the execution of onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for employees entering or leaving the company.
  • Develops appropriate contract agreements and/or offer terms and conditions for new hires, promotions and transfers.
  • Provides guidance and input on department restructures and workforce planning.
  • Partners with managers to evaluate skill gaps, conducts training needs assessments and individual coaching needs; facilitates and recommends training, development and coaching resources; supports implementation of internal and external learning solutions; and participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success.
  • Supports and consults in the development and execution of processes including: performance reviews, goal setting and engagement surveys for their supporting departments.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance; and partners with the head of People & Culture and/or legal representatives as needed and/or required.
  • Reviews and monitors key HR KPIs, providing insights and strategic recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Support Intellum’s compensation strategy, including benchmarking, recommending market adjustment and salary planning in compliance to the compensation philosophy.
  • Supports Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives and upholding Intellum’s commitment to diversity.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work across various time zones, effectively work remote, and be available for in-person meetings as requested
  • Exposure to multi-state
  • Experience support a remote-first work environment


Preferred Qualifications


  • PHR/SPHR certification
  • Experience or exposure with international employment laws preferred
  • Project management skills
  • Experience using Google Suite a plus


Education


  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, human resources or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years in equivalent HRBP or Generalist role
  • Experience delivering HR solutions within a SaaS environment preferred
