Hydraquip has offices in TX, LA, OK, CO and TN - providing motion control solutions for hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrically powered applications.
The Director of Repair Sales plays a crucial role in overseeing the success of repair sales growth in cooperation with outside sales representatives and repair operations. This position will work closely with customers to understand their repair needs and provide this feedback to leadership within the repair business unit. They will be responsible for identifying new industries, target accounts and building relationships with current customer base and account managers.
Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by ensuring exceptional service delivery, addressing customer concerns, and proactively identifying opportunities for improvement
Build and maintain strong relationships with account managers, customers and vendor partners to ensure Hydraquip provides on-time deliveries and sales growth
Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention
Identify key strategic accounts for repair business unit to win business from competition
Drive sales efforts within the business unit by developing and executing sales plans with leadership and identifying new business opportunities.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to make informed decisions that contribute to business growth
Manage internal relationships with customer service, repair operations, purchasing and management to provide the best results for customers
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education & Training:
BS/MS degree and/or 10+ years of relevant industry experience
Proven success in a previous sales representative or sales management role
Commitment to continuous education and staying updated on industry developments
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels
Strong business acumen and industry expertise
Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and manage a business unit
Experience:
Over five (5) years of experience in sales, operations, management, or technical fields
Previous experience in hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, or automotive repair is strongly preferred
Education as described above may be accepted in lieu of experience
Experience working in an ISO 9001 environment is considered a plus.
Knowledge & Skills:
An exceptional working knowledge of hydraulic and/or hydrostatic components, equipment operations, and/or mechanical functions
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
Good personal motivation
