Job Title: Hardware Engineer- Power Electronics

Location: Houston, TX (Onsite)

Duration: Long term

Job Description

  • Experience in Power Electronics Hardware design & development.
  • Good understanding of power supply topologies & power conversion concepts.
  • Experience with analog and filter design.
  • Component selection & sizing, design analysis and worst-case analysis.
  • Hands on experience with LT Spice, OrCAD Pspice simulation tools.
  • Experience with PADS logic & layout-schematics & PCB tools.
  • Design verification, testing & troubleshooting experience.
  • Hands on experience using lab & advanced measurement equipments.
  • Exposure to high voltage handling (~600V).
  • Familiarity with magnetics design & principles.
  • Support prototype building & co-ordination with cross functional team.
  • Technical presentation & reporting.
  • High temperature electronics design experience relevant to oil & gas industry is plus.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

Qualification

  • Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. Master's preferred.
