Experienced Mechanical Engineer Opportunity at a Manufacturing Facility
Job Description
Project Development and Management:
Collaborate with the management team to develop, design, and implement projects affecting the facility and production processes
Provide engineering support for plant modifications, maintenance, regulatory compliance, and equipment training
Manage costs, project budgets, and project timelines effectively
Equipment And Process Optimization
Work with Managers to ensure efficient operation of equipment, identify process improvements, and address preventative maintenance needs
Conduct equipment capability studies and propose solutions for process and equipment enhancements
Technical Expertise And Support
Identify technical problems and offer practical solutions for projects
Support instrumentation and controls troubleshooting, repair, and project development
Provide engineering solutions to enhance process capability and recommend continuous and capital improvements
Requirements
Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or related field
3+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of PLC programming, HMIs, and SCADA programming
Experience in the metals industry is preferred
Strong project management skills with a proven track record of managing multiple projects efficiently
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills
Proficiency in SolidWorks Professional and AutoCAD is beneficial
