The New York Post's Business Desk seeks a talented, ambitious intern to fill general assignment business reporting duties – for either the morning shift (8 AM – 11 AM) or the afternoon shift (3 PM – 6 PM).


Key tasks include:

  • Spotting and writing up breaking news stories on tight deadlines, chiefly on the major deals and personalities of Wall Street, Silicon Valley and the media sector
  • Encouraged to break exclusives and pitch broader features
  • Strong news judgment and the ability to write quickly and cleanly are absolute musts


The intern will work directly with the section's editors, who will provide mentoring on all aspects of journalism.
