$23.18 - $29.93

Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 10%

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 10%

These discretionary target bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based upon your achievement of performance goals and targets.

About This Job

The Junior Underwriter works closely with and supports the Underwriters with loan preparation for initial underwriting, condition reviews, and clearing the loan to close. May sign off on underwriting conditions within authority.

Responsibilities:

• Review loan documentation submitted by processing for initial underwriting decision and conditional approvals
• Evaluate credit history, income, assets and current liabilities for ability to repay using AUS findings and investor guidelines
• Maintain data integrity by performing data validations and updating the system of record
• May sign off on underwriting conditions within authority
• Update and re-run quality control tools, as needed
• Complete required worksheets (examples: income workbook, CTC checklist, etc)
• Review and respond to quality control and investor suspense items related to Credit for loan sales
• Other duties as assigned
