Base pay range

$70,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr
Position Summary: The Junior Accountant will play a crucial role in supporting our Finance/Accounting and Client Services teams. This position involves processing daily transactions, journal entries, reconciliations, and other essential tasks to ensure smooth financial operations.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Client Services Operations and Transactions:
    • Process deposits into and withdrawals from client accounts.
    • Provide timely acknowledgment to clients’ requests.
    • Prepare and distribute daily transaction reports.
    • Assist in the preparation and review of month-end and quarter-end payments, reinvestments of income, and client reports.
    • Post client statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • General Ledger Management:
    • Prepare journal entries in the general ledger using MS Dynamics GP.
    • Conduct general ledger account reconciliations.
Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Relevant work experience in financial and/or investment services.
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently in a hybrid environment.
  • Proficiency with various software applications and platforms.
