T3 Global is a proprietary trading group specializing in commodity and interest rate derivatives. We run both OTC and systematic strategies to capture opportunities across the global futures and options markets.
About the Role:
T3’s largest OTC and systematic commodity trading group is looking for a Junior Trader to support all aspects of trading, operations, and research. As a Junior Trader, you will collaborate closely with Senior Traders to manage a portfolio of commodity derivatives in energy, agriculture, and interest rates. You will quickly make an impact in a demanding environment, where your contribution will directly affect the desk’s profitability. Through our training program, you will learn all aspects of a trading desk’s operations and the trade research and development process.
Responsibilities:
Partner with Senior Traders to assist in and learn all aspects of trading
Develop expertise in relative value market fundamentals, risk management, OTC trading
Build and maintain operational tools and analytics
Research and improve upon existing trading strategies; identify new opportunities
Automate and improve desk operational processes
Develop and establish ownership and PNL of new and existing trading strategies
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, finance, or a related field
Proficiency in Python, Excel, and experience with C++ preferred
Superb problem-solving skills, resilience, and ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills to work effectively with a diverse team
Deep understanding of finance, math, and statistics
Attention to detail and the ability to make sound judgments under pressure
Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
Possess a strong work ethic, continuously learn, and take initiative
Strong interest in trading and commodity markets in particular
Previous experience in trading or finance is a plus
Demonstrated ability to handle feedback constructively and maintain professionalism
