Are you a passionate and driven attorney seeking an opportunity to grow your career in personal injury litigation? Direct Counsel is currently seeking a Junior Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join a reputable law firm in Santa Monica's dynamic team. As a key member of the litigation department, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of personal injury cases, including motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, and medical malpractice.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of personal injury litigation matters from inception to resolution
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents
  • Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, and mediations
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance companies
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and prepare for trial


Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the California State Bar
  • 1-3 years of experience in personal injury litigation preferred
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment


Salary Range: $110,000 - $165,000 per year (DOE)
