The Position:
Lead Catalog & Editorial Stylist
Location:
Chicago, IL (On-site)
Overview:
AKIRA is looking for an experienced Catalog and editorial Stylist. This person will be responsible for shopAKIRA.com’s visual style representation and will act as one of the main voices of AKIRA’s styling direction.

Responsibilities:
Providing creative direction and inspiration in regards to styling of all product images on the website
Providing high quality and high quantity styling for multiple photo shoots per week
Leading high volume, fast-paced shooting environments
Ensuring quality image content that meets the brand’s aesthetic standards
Managing and organizing the photo studio and samples
Image selection
Working closely with necessary departments to meet upload schedules and deadlines
Attend all content and creative meetings for planning and ensuring proper trend and idea execution
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of eCommerce styling experience
A strong eye for fashion, trends, and visual composition
Strong knowledge of industry, celebrity, and social media fashion trends
Keen eye for details
Strong ability to multi-task in a very fast-paced environment
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Strong communications skills with agencies and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
Receptive to feedback and ability to continuously improve
Extremely well organized and strong time management skills
Bachelor’s degree preferred
