Role

As a Maintenance Technician (also known as Equipment Maintenance Specialist, Maintenance Engineer), you'll ensure the efficiency and reliability of our plastic packaging production equipment. This includes maintaining and repairing machinery used in manufacturing various packaging products for the food and beverage industry, collaborating with machine operators and supervisors to quickly resolve technical issues, and proposing solutions for recurring problems to improve overall equipment effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Associate's degree in plastics engineering technology, mechatronics, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in a maintenance role, preferably in plastic manufacturing or food packaging. Hands-on experience with injection molding, thermoforming, and extrusion processes is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using precision measuring tools and diagnostic equipment for plastic processing machinery, basic computer skills, and ability to read and interpret technical manuals for plastic processing and packaging equipment.
