About The Opportunity

This is an opportunity for a Managing Director to join one of the fastest-growing companies in the country. The Managing Director will be responsible for managing, identifying, sourcing, soliciting, interviewing, and onboarding top brokerage talent. The role is based in Bal Harbour, Miami. The ideal candidate has worked in luxury residential real estate brokerage in Miami and has an extensive network of industry contacts and relationships.

The brand is recognized as one of the fastest-growing premier, boutique brands in the world and named a Top Luxury Brokerage by Inman. Their clients and agents benefit from the shared resources of their international team, including in-house, cutting-edge creative, public relations, and tech divisions. They have 115 offices across 12 countries. This division would be leading their premier Bal Harbour, Miami office.

Role & Responsibilities

Supervision/Management of Facilities:

  • Everyday supervision of agents, staff, and general operations
  • Hold regular sales meetings with agents to discuss best practices, accountability, and industry trends
  • Promote best practices within real estate
  • Taking care of office “got a minutes”
  • Weekly reporting to the Managing Partner including a monthly roll-up
  • Office maintenance & supplies and open and closing procedures

Talent Attraction And Retention

  • Identify, source, and solicit top agent talent in a consistent and effective manner
  • Calling, emailing, texting, video chatting, social media communication (and other avenues) to communicate with potential talent to join the brand
  • Interview and pipeline potential candidates
  • Effectively articulate the company’s value proposition
  • Daily “Retention” of current agents via meetings, planned acts of appreciation, etc.

Training

  • Manage all agent training and processes - Business planning, coaching, mentoring, and holding regular accountability meetings
  • Effective onboarding of newly hired agents/brokers

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant real estate sales, management, recruiting, or sales related capacities and knowledge of the Miami Marketplace
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiating abilities
  • Strong presentation skills possessing the ability to create a proactive recruiting strategy
  • Strong project management skills and sound judgment
  • Ability to multi-task and work diligently to complete timely assignments
  • Work well with other team members. Integrity and trustworthiness
  • Characterized as self-starter, detail-oriented, organized and disciplined
  • The ability to think strategically and globally and to roll out improvements to ensure best practices
  • Capable of utilizing brand CRM and Data Analytic systems (will train candidate on)

Compensation/Hours

Base: 85-100K plus generous bonus opportunity
