Role Overview:

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth for a new water filtration brand. This role is perfect for an experienced marketing professional with a strong background in brand building, product launches, and digital marketing, particularly within the consumer goods or water filtration industries. There are also established brands in the company which require continuous improvements and updates for marketing collateral.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Brand Strategy & Development:
  • Lead the development and positioning of the new brand, ensuring alignment with company values and market needs.
  • Create a compelling brand story, visual identity, and messaging strategy.
  • Oversee the launch of new products, from ideation to market entry, ensuring cohesive brand communication.
  • Marketing Strategy & Execution:
  • Develop and implement a multi-channel marketing strategy that includes digital marketing, content marketing, social media, email marketing, and traditional channels.
  • Drive brand awareness through targeted campaigns, partnerships, and events.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Digital Marketing & Lead Generation:
  • Lead performance marketing initiatives across platforms like Google Ads, social media, and SEO.
  • Manage content creation for blogs, social media, and other digital channels, ensuring it aligns with brand messaging.
  • Website enhancements
  • Utilize data analytics tools to measure campaign effectiveness, optimize ROI, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Sales & Marketing Alignment:
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure marketing efforts are driving qualified leads and supporting sales goals.
  • Develop sales enablement materials, such as brochures, product sheets, and presentations.
  • Budget Management:
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring all activities deliver measurable results within the allocated spend.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust spending as needed to maximize ROI.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, product development, and customer service teams.
  • Liaise with external agencies and vendors to ensure efficient and effective marketing operations and material creations.

Key Criteria and Requirements:

  • Experience & Expertise:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in a marketing role, with at least 2 years focused on brand building
  • Proven track record of successfully launching new products and brands, ideally within the consumer goods.
  • **Strategic Thinking:**
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable marketing strategies.
  • Experience in building and scaling brands in a competitive market environment.
  • **Digital Marketing Proficiency:**
  • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing channels, including SEO, PPC, content marketing, and social media.
  • Proficient in using marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo) and data analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush).
  • **Leadership & Communication:**
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey brand messaging clearly and persuasively.
  • **Industry Knowledge:**
  • A deep understanding of the water filtration or environmental technology market is a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and consumer concerns related to water quality and filtration products.
  • **Adaptability & Creativity:**
  • A creative thinker who can adapt to changing market dynamics and drive innovation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup-like environment with a hands-on approach.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in managing PR campaigns and media relations.
  • Familiarity with sustainability trends and eco-friendly branding.
  • Experience in e-commerce marketing, including managing an online store or direct-to-consumer (D2C) channels.
