Marketing Manager, UK (Including Ireland & Emerging Markets) – Home Office Based
Job Summary:
The Field Marketing Manager (UK) plays a key role managing regional marketing strategy and execution of tactics to all applicable Arcserve sales channels, such as VARs, MSPs, Distribution, End Users and additional channels such as Alliances. The territory is the UK and Ireland.
Reporting to the Director of Global Field Marketing, as part of a remote global team, this role is a standalone role located remotely in the UK.

Reporting to the Director of Global Field Marketing, as part of a remote global team, this role is a standalone role located remotely in the UK.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Work with Regional Sales Teams to develop marketing plans and execute in the field
- Develop and implement lead generation strategies and plans to meet regional targets – MQLs & SQLs
- Work with internal SDRs and Field Sales to ensure information is updated and maintained in Salesforce (sfdc)
- Develop and implement channel marketing plans and tactics to meet regional objectives in terms of lead generation, mindshare within the channel and increase share of products and services, achieved through collaboration with Channel Teams
- Forecast, formulate, and manage marketing budgets for respective region
- Work closely with the Regional Sales Leaders and their sales organisation to ensure plans and sales activities coincide
- Localise training, messaging, marketing documents to support promotions and product focus as needed
- Design and develop regional-specific marketing campaigns including content
- Organise and manage regional end user and partner events. Track and report on the effectiveness of the same.
- Analyze performance of marketing campaigns such as events, online campaigns, webinars.
- Track effectiveness of marketing programs, manage ROI reporting, and recommend changes or future programs to achieve marketing goals and maximize ROI.
- Prepare and present quarterly marketing achievements to management, as necessary.
- Coordinate with the wider EMEA and corporate teams as necessary to ensure corporate branding and messaging guidelines are followed.
- Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn additional applications as needed such as SFDC, Monday.com and Reachdesk.
- Analytical skills regarding budgeting and return on investment analysis.
- Experience in strategic marketing planning and the ability to generate new programs, partnerships.
- General understanding of online marketing.
- Knowledge and experience of end user lead generation programs will be a major plus.
- Clear understanding of multi-tiered channel models while demonstrating that they know the various sales/Marketing models of each channel and how they differ.
- Clear understanding of preferred communication methods to reach the desired audiences within each channel.
- Must have excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Able to work with minimum direction and supervision to be able to translate broad directives into useful tactics and meaningful activities. Must be able to orchestrate within a multi-function, multi team environment.
- Minimum 5 years in similar roles from within the IT sector.
- Individual will have experience with multiple sales channels and creating strategic marketing plans either as a manager or as part of team.
- Experience should include working in a team environment with internal and external associates, lead generation providers, online marketing agencies, event organizers and the like.
- Individual should have experience creating and managing budgets and be able to execute and conduct hands on tasks and not just be limited to the planning aspects of the role.
- To be successful in this role, you will be comfortable with working in a high energy, fast paced environment.
