Job Description: Creative Production Manager - Maternity Leave Coverage
The role of production manager resides within the Brand & Campaigns team. As part of this team, this role is a project manager for creative projects such as events, trade shows, digital campaigns, asset creation and activation, web page launches and internal brand initiatives.
Responsibilities
Assigned to several priority projects at one time, based on bandwidth and scope of individual project
For These Specific Programs They Are Responsible For
Ensuring proper written briefs are created from the stakeholders (using the brief templates)
Establishing a master workback schedule for all facets of the project related to creative output
Coordination across production teams to ensure team members are aware of program objectives, goals, list of deliverables and critical milestones to meet deadlines
Consistent outreach to program managers/ stakeholders to ensure they have an up to date status on project and can effectively manage back into deadlines
Regularly scheduled meetings with Program managers/ stakeholders/ requesters on upcoming deliverables to gather requirements to be shared with other production teams
Ensuring consistent creative look and feel that aligns with our brand messaging and identity guidelines
Create and manage project to agreed upon production schedule
Creation and ongoing management and routing of Jira tickets as a workflow tool for all production teams to provide deliverables for program manager review and approval
Risk mitigation and escalation to leadership as needed to ensure project milestones and scope are managed and met appropriately
Knowledge Skills And Abilities
Proficiency using MS Project, SmartSheets or other scheduling and resource management tool
Able to juggle multiple competing priorities
Able to facilitate effective meetings towards outcomes
Able to identify roadblocks and use critical thinking to work toward a solution
Superior communication and organizational skills with a desire to continue to grow these skills
Able to pick up on team and organizational dynamics and can adapt approach based on perception
An attitude that sees possibility as well as any limitations that leans toward a can-do approach
Experience and Education
5+ years of marketing production project management experience working in an in-house or traditional agency setting
Experience facilitating enterprise level projects with teams of up to 10 people
Practical/foundational experience in PM methodologies and practices including waterfall and agile.
Experience with CMS and web technologies a plus
Familiarity with digital advertising technical specifications and requirements for online banner ads, website promotions and email communications
Experience with Jira and Confluence desired
Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
Experience in marketing, digital media and production, web editing, or communications.
Demonstrated competency using technology including but not limited to Google Docs, Word, Excel, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) and social marketing tools.
