Responsibilities

• Create 3D models, detail mechanical drawings, and develop BOMs for new products
• Engineering support for existing products and processes
• Assist production and accounting department with work tickets, inventory, BOM
• Domestic and international supplier sourcing and evaluation with ongoing written and verbal communication pertaining to assigned projects
• Mechanical Engineering design for various component based and assembly systems on assigned project, OEM machines, and some equipment maintenance
• Materials research and testing required for new product design and development. Prototyping, testing and evaluating new products
  
  

Requirements

• BS or higher in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• 3-4 years of experience working in mechanical engineering or related field
• Autodesk Inventor or similar CAD experience with best practices for part design, advanced assemblies
• Experience with hands-on prototype development in plastic and metal including using basic machine shop tools and 3D Printing
  
  

The applicant will be expected to work "cross functionally" with other engineers, logistics, accounting and production personnel, and will likely "hit the ground" running.
