Base pay range

$100,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr

Provider of valve automation products is hiring a National Account Manager.


This role is remote with 50% travel.


Primary Functions:

  • Leads the sales effort to maximize revenue and exceed forecasted growth targets for assigned accounts
  • Act as primary point of contact with National Accounts
  • Manages all aspects of the National Accounts including customer relationship management, opportunity management via CRM
  • Provides leadership, motivation, and direction to National Accounts’ sales representatives
  • Supports the preparation of effective quotations, bids, and related negotiation documentation
  • Enhances presence on National Account websites and e-commerce platforms
  • Identifies and develops new National Accounts
  • Monitors and analyzes account performance metrics
  • Proactively identifies challenges, overcomes obstacles, and promotes effective product solutions
  • Establishes quarterly and annual sales plans for the National Accounts


Primary Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of the industrial distribution market
  • Deep understanding of the manufacturing industry, including market trends, competitor analysis, and customer needs
  • 5 or more years of experience managing sales to industrial distribution accounts on a national level is required for this role
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or equivalent technical sales experience
  • 5 or more years of industrial sales experience, with a strong preference for expertise in the food & beverage and industrial markets
  • Proficiency in maintaining a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, such as Salesforce.
  • Willingness to travel frequently overnight across the country to meet with National Accounts
