Job Title: Network Load Balancing and DDI Operations ManagerJob Location: Charlotte, NC | Richardson, TX | Richmond, VA (On-Site)Job Type: Full Time

Job Description

  • Manage a large team of global Incidents & SRF engineers, as well as oversight of vendor managed functions
  • Manage end-to-end operations support and service request fulfilment services for Load Balancer and DDI (DNS/DHCP/IP address management) domains within the Network Service Delivery and Operations organization.
  • Provide leadership during complex break/fix incidents and ensure adequate resolution
  • Direct the team through post incident reviews, root cause analysis and identify corrective actions
  • Set the strategy and develop approaches to monitor and validate service functionality of Load Balancer and DDI (DNS/DHCP/IP address management) services

Requires Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years network operations delivery and/or technology management experience
  • B.S. degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
  • Experience in F5 (Physical) & AVI (Virtual) Load balancing technologies and DNS, DHCP and I.P. address management.
  • Expertise in planning, designing, and implementing enterprise-level network security technologies.
  • Good knowledge on virtual appliances and cloud architecture
  • Experience with migrations from Physical to virtual infrastructure
  • Expert understanding of network protocols and routing/switching
  • Hands on network security troubleshooting, network-based forensics, and proficient with packet analysis tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to present at an executive level.

Good To Have

  • Experience in managing a team of 10+ members
  • Expertise with these core technologies:
    • f5 Load balancers
    • Virtual appliances (AVI Load balancers)
    • DNS, DHCP, I.P. Address management (Vital QIP and/or Bluecat)
