Note:- This role is based in Saudi and requires you to relocate with family to Saudi Arabia.

Job Purpose

  • As an Energy Engineer in our Global Manufacturing Support Department (GMSD), your role is pivotal in managing energy aspects for refinery and gas plants. You'll ensure energy compliance, develop efficiency strategies, and contribute to our digital transformation program.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Develop energy efficiency roadmaps for oil and gas refineries, setting Energy KPIs for analysis.
  • Ensure energy compliance and efficiency across operating facilities, maintaining Energy Policy and procedures.
  • Collaborate with refinery teams to identify and implement energy-saving opportunities.
  • Analyse daily energy use, conduct audits, and monitor energy intensity indicators for optimization.
  • Organise technical workshops, develop training materials, and promote energy awareness among personnel.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 12 years' experience in refining, oil/gas plants, or petrochemical industries.
  • Proficiency in industry standards such as API, BS, ISO, ASME, ANSI, IEC, ISA, IEEE, etc.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in energy engineering.
  • Familiarity with ISO-50001 Energy Management Standard preferred.
  • Working knowledge of oil/gas plant processes and energy efficiency strategies.
  • Experience in data collection, analysis, and advising on energy performance improvements.
  • Strong management and coordination abilities
