Job Summary:

The General Labor Associate plays a crucial role in supporting our waste management and demolition operations. You will be responsible for a variety of manual labor tasks, including loading and unloading trucks, assisting with demolition activities, and maintaining clean and organized project sites. This role is vital to ensuring our projects are completed safely and efficiently.


Essential Functions:

- Load and unload trucks with junk, debris, and other materials, ensuring the safety and integrity of the cargo.

- Assist with demolition activities by breaking down structures, removing debris, and preparing sites for new construction.

- Sort and dispose of materials according to company policies and local regulations, ensuring compliance and environmental responsibility.

- Keep project sites clean and organized, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment for all team members.

- Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of provided safety gear, to prevent accidents and injuries.

- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to complete tasks and resolve any issues that arise.

- Assist with additional tasks as needed to ensure the timely and successful completion of projects.


% Travel Required (Approximate): Minimal travel required; primarily based at project sites within the local area.


Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Previous experience in manual labor, construction, or waste management preferred.

- Physical ability to perform demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects regularly.

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.

- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.

- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
