YOUR ROLE

Kokua’s Operations Coordinators are passionate about supporting children, have a “whatever it takes” mindset, and are extremely detail oriented and organized. You have a growth mindset, and exceptional interpersonal skills to easily establish rapport and respect with team members, school contacts, and teachers. You exhibit a high level of professionalism and grace, and represent Kokua in a reputable way.


This is an entry level position with a salary range of $48,000-51,000 per year. This role is currently remote, but preference will be given to candidates in the East Coast area due to the hours and context required to succeed in this role.

The hours for this role are:

  • 8am-4pm Monday-Thursday
  • 8am-2pm Friday
  • 6pm-8pm Sunday


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES


Manage data systems

Update and regularly review dashboards and other systems data. Efficiently and concisely communicate data across teams. Maintain meticulous records and ensure that 100% of stakeholders receive communication within 24 hours. Master our internal systems including Zendesk, Salesforce, Frontline, Paylocity to best support stakeholders with support inquiries.


Create a welcoming environment

You bring a positive energy to the team and inspire those around you through your work and dedication. Respond to questions from stakeholders in a timely manner. You are responsible for setting a positive tone with Guest Teachers and school partners in a fast paced environment, and can find creative strategies to retain, engage and optimize Guest Teachers. You are charismatic, compelling, and have the ability to network and provide the highest levels of customer service. You are warm, friendly, efficient, and detail oriented!

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s or equivalent work experience
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
  • 0-2 years of work experience or professional internships
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Excel, Google Docs, Outlook, Salesforce
  • Preference given to candidates located in the East Coast area
