Operations Manager - Residential Construction

Position Overview

The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a company or organization. They will work closely with other department managers to ensure efficient and effective processes are in place to support the overall goals and objectives of the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of employees, providing guidance and support to ensure their success and growth within the organization
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
• Monitor and analyze financial and operational data to identify areas for improvement and cost savings
• Collaborate with other department managers to develop and maintain cross-functional processes and procedures
• Oversee inventory management and supply chain processes to ensure timely delivery of products and services
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate pricing and contracts to obtain the best value for the company
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements
• Create reports and presentations to present to senior management and stakeholders
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management or a similar role
• Proven experience in managing and developing a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
• Knowledge of supply chain management and inventory control processes
• Familiarity with safety and regulatory compliance
