Our client, a leading company in the Greentech and energy storage sector, is seeking a Power Electronics Engineer to join their team. This is a remote position with very occasional travel to their headquarters in Austin, TX. The role involves designing power electronics for a company with several market-proven products and a portfolio of reputable and respected clients. To be considered for this role, candidates must be based in the United States.


The base salary for this position ranges from $100k to $180k depending on experience. The compensation package also includes meaningful equity, comprehensive health coverage, and generous PTO. Due to the nature of our client's work, the candidate must be a U.S. citizen or green card holder.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Design and develop power electronics systems, focusing on battery storage and battery management systems (BMS) or similar technologies.
  • Engage in inverter design and grid-connected power electronics projects.
  • Drive product design from concept to market, ensuring high standards of performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to source components and manage procurement processes.
  • Work closely with the CTO and other team members to support the company's growth initiatives.
