Process Safety Engineer

Responsibilities

• The PSM Engineer is responsible for managing the site Process Safety Management (PSM) Program.
• Planning and completion of the Process Hazard Analysis (PHAs) for the facility as well as driving closure of site PHA action items and the execution of projects to close gaps identified during the PHA process.
• Responsible for improving site process safety managements systems.
• Facilitates a healthy audit program. Process Safety Management.

Requirements

• The PSM Specialist will have a BS Chemical Engineering. 5+ years of experience as a PSM Specialist in a chemical manufacturing plant or refinery is mandatory.
• A working knowledge of the following federal health and safety regulations.
• 3+ years of PSM experience in a chemical plant or refinery is mandatory.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
